Our Pastor is always available to provide pastoral care in emergency situations. Parishioners are encouraged to call the pastor directly or leave a message on the church answering machine (610-941-6666) when a need arises. The pastor and several members of our congregation also make periodic visits to parishioners who are no longer able to attend church on a regular basis or who need assistance because they are going through a difficult time. One of our parishioners, Liliana Gravagno, is a Licensed Eucharistic Visitor, which means that she, as well as the pastor, can bring communion to those who are sick.
There are many opportunities for parishioners to assist in pastoral care. Our "Keep In Touch" program, coordinated by our vestry, provides Sunday visitations to our homebound members, delivering to them the good wishes of the congregation along with a bouquet made from the altar flowers. Each Christmas season a group of carolers brings homemade cookies and the gift of music to those in assisted care facilities and nursing homes. On an as needed basis parishioners provide meals, rides or other services to members and their family. We are a congregation who truly care about each other and we are always eager to help each other out.
